Roach treatment in cameron county
Cockroaches hide in cracks, feed on many food sources, and leave droppings, shed skins, and allergens in the rooms they occupy.
German cockroaches and American cockroaches
German cockroaches are the main indoor kitchen species. Adults are about 1/2 inch long, tan, with two dark stripes on the shield behind the head. They live in cabinets, behind dishwashers and stoves, and in other warm, tight spaces near food and water. Females carry an egg case. In a warm kitchen they can develop from egg to adult in about 90 days.
American cockroaches are much larger, up to about 1 1/2 inches. They are often called palmetto bugs or water bugs. They live in sewers, crawl spaces, basements, and utility rooms and enter through drains and foundation openings.
